Joint Task Force Citation: “During today [Saturday, 21 May]Joint Task Force soldiers destroyed 5 enemy tanks, 4 artillery systems, 10 armored fighting vehicles and 2 motor vehicles.
Air Defense Forces shot down 1 Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle from the sky over Ukrainian Donbass.”
Details: In the area covered by Task Force Skhid, the Ukrainian defenders killed 28 Russian soldiers, 1 armored fighting vehicle, 1 artillery system, 1 mortar and 1 artillery tractor.
The Joint Task Force reports that Russian troops shelled more than 40 towns and villages along the front line in Donbass, destroying 30 civilian objects. 7 civilians were killed and 7 others were injured in the Donetsk region.
Russian occupation forces destroyed or damaged 13 residential buildings, 4 factories, an industrial research institute, a foreign language institute, a train station, a music school, 2 fire and rescue stations, part of a gas pipeline, a high voltage power line, a cemetery and a number of industrial and agricultural facilities.
Earlier: On May 20, the Ukrainian defenders destroy 32 pieces of Russian equipment and repelled 11 Russian attacks in the Donbas region.
