APJ customer growth explodes as data industry grows 27.8% in region

Trifacta Adds New Leadership to Drive Expansion in Singapore and India
To foster continued expansion and support the influx of customers, Trifacta has appointed Quoc Tran as the company’s senior vice president for the APJ region. Tran brings more than two decades of experience in data and SaaS businesses, including leading the APJ expansion of Vontu, a leader in data loss prevention that Symantec later acquired. Tran has extensive knowledge of data management and data engineering, with over seven years leading Trifacta’s global sales engineering organization before becoming an executive. Tran holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Engineering Dinesh Rathi heads India’s Trifacta office and will take the leadership role this year. He has 20 years of experience working with fast growing startups and product-based companies and has deep expertise in data platforms. Rathi brings his expertise in building and leading R&D organizations in India for data companies including Informatica and Qubole. Rathi holds a B. Tech in CSE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

As part of the expansion into APJ, Trifacta previously added investment aid from Telstra Ventures, NTT Docomo Ventures and Infosys.
