Student Achievements, September 18, 2021

* The East Haven Rotary Club recently recognized its latest “Students of the Month” for the toughest 2020-21 school year. Prior to the pandemic, prizes were handed out several times a year at one of the club’s weekly dinners. However, due to great caution, these award winners were recognized in the lobby of East Haven High School. Recently, Kathy Conner and Tammy Afragola of Rotarians presented four students with their Rotarian Student of the Month award. * The following local students graduated in May from Eastern CT State University, Willimantic. Liz Colon from Naugatuck is a Cum Laude graduate with a BA in English. Daniel Silva from Naugatuck graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. Justin Gomez-Stafford of New Haven graduated from Biology with Magna Cum Laude. Melissa Jensen of New Haven graduated with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. Deven Ladson of New Haven graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication. Genuel Rivera of New Haven graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Amariah Rodriguez from New Haven graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Art. Jocelyn Thigpen of New Haven graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Rachel Cubbellotti from North Haven graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology. Kristin Lynch of North Haven graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Mason Feurer of Orange obtained a license in business administration. Michael Pretlove of Orange graduated from Social Work. Nuala Tzovolos from Orange graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology.
