Born on November 7, 1954, Kamal Haasan is one of the few actors from South India who managed to find a place in Bollywood in his time. He has received dozens of awards, including two National Best Actor Awards, and the Indian Civial Awards, which include the Padmabhushan and Padma Shri awards.
