OPRYD is seeking candidates who will embrace and advance the department’s mission: with a focus on the youth of Oakland, Oakland Parks, Recreation & Youth Development and its partners will provide the best relevant and equitable programs and services, while meeting the specific needs of people and communities at both the neighborhood and regional level throughout the city of Oakland. OPRYD has a broad responsibility and will fill positions with candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including students entering the workforce, seasoned professionals and retirees with a depth of workforce and experience. of life. Additional language ability is highly desirable.

Most assignments will run throughout the summer season, with a limited number of assignment opportunities during the school year. All part-time positions have an exercise limit of 960 hours.
